The Cutest Lip Balm Ever

EOS Evolution Smooth Lip Balm - 

Strawberry Sorbet

A lot of bloggers and gurus are using them recently. Of course!! Look at them!! the packaging is so freaking adorable and cute!

I am using Eos Evolution Smooth Lip Balm - Strawberry Sorbet.

I personally prefer applying gel or cream lip balm,so

I was not surprised when I used it at first time.

But I get addicted to it because it is so easy to apply and it smells amazing and tasted delicious!
It makes your lips smell like strawberry and taste sweet!
Also it is more lasting than most gel lip balm! I just get a lof of questions from my friends everytime I apply this little cute pinky egg!

The bad things of it is it's not shinny or glossy like some gel lip balm so somebody may not like it.

Also it's relatively larger than most lip products which will occupy more space in your make-up bag. And you may not want to carry it in your tiny clutch.

How to deal with Greasy Hair?

Lush Shampoo Bars Review

I heard a lot of gurus raving about lush, especially their hair products such as Lush Dry Shampoo and

of course those super colorful Lush Shampoo Bars!

 Every time I visit Lush stores, I feel like I am in a heaven with countless beautiful giant macarons!!!

Anyone agree that Lush shampoo bars look like colorful macarons? Or just me... 

Ok, back to topic! I picked 

JUMPING JUNIPER

The sales girl claimed this purple macaron can help balance sebum production and make your hair less grease. 

Actually my hair is insanely dry due to nonstop damage for perming, heating. 

But in summer my hair sometimes have oil problem on the top especially when I haven't wash my hair the previous night. 

So I decided to give it a go!

How I use it:

 Don't wet your hair first,

Wet your hand and the Lush shampoo bar to lather up.

Apply the foam on your hair and pay attention to the scalp.

I think whenever I wash my hair with LushJumping Juniper the previous night, my hair tends to be less pron-to-be-greasy!

However, maybe because I didn't use it with Lush Conditioner, I feel my hair is less nourished while using Lush Jumping Juniper, compared with my old hair care routine.

Conclusion: 

It does work! It cleans your hair very well and can really balance you sebum production.

It helps relieve oily / greasy hair problems which are very common in summer and wherever humid! (Yay, I think weather and climate are also determine your sebum production!)

I will go on using it, maybe occasionally, depends on my greasy hair problem.

If you have super dry hair like me, I will recommend using a more nourishing conditioner to compensate the dryness Jumping Junier brings you.

Well, as a shampoo, it is not a cheap one. But since Lush claimed each shampoo bar can last for 100 washes, I think it's indeed acceptable. 

And they're made in natural ingredients! Sounds cool huh?

Look forward to trying out other lush shampoo bars! I heard they have many different amazing functions!

P.S. Yes! Lush products are cheaper in both the U.S. and the U.K. than in Hong Kong!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - USD50

In May, I bought the Naked Palette - Urban Decay and I love the colors and formula so so much that I really regretted not having ordered the Naked 2 as well! Yet I am so lucky that a good friend of mine in the United States was coming to Hong Kong last month and YAY!!! I could finally order Urban Decay products on their official website! (Because Urban Decay doesn't ship worldwide! :'( )
So I bought the Naked2 Palette, some 24/7 Guide-On Eye Pencils and Body Jewelry (Temporary Tattoos)from Urban Decay! (Swatch and reviews ??)

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette - USD50                                      These two palettes received some many praises and I have been frequently asked how we can buy the Naked Palettes in Hong Kong! The answer is NO! Currently Urban Decay is not available in HK ( Please, when will you invade HK Urban Decay?><). So we can only buy UD online, such as via Ebay. Since I don't like shopping cosmetics on Ebay, my Naked Palette was bought from lookfantastic.com where they ship worldwide on any order! But yes, the Naked Palette is of course more expensive than the original price. They are sold at £36. (Not too steep but ugh...)
For those who can't buy UD and don't fancy shopping online, I think Bobbi Brown's recent release- Desert Twilight Eye Palette can be a substitute!They also have nude and lots of earth-tone eyeshadows which make it a very convenient eyeshadow palette for most natural daily make-ups! Meanwhile you can easily build it up to create you night-out make-up! Plus Bobbi Brown's eyeshadows are of very high-quality, well-made and pigmented according to my experience.

Revlon Colorbust Lip Butter Review

Have been hearing A LOT OF good things about Revlon Lip Butter and wanted to give it a try for so long, I still hesitated because I felt too guilty buying one more lipstick while there is a pile of them at my home! 

But SALE is the most magical and amazing thing ever because it always diminishes my guiltiness for buying discounted products!! And makes me feel guilty if I don't buy them on sale!!!

Yup, it happens every time I shop in beauty stores. Anyone too?

Answer:

Revlon Colorbust Lip Butter - Pink Truffle!!!

I think Pink Truffle is perfect for everyday look because it is just so WEARABLE!!! This color is amazing on whatever skin tone and on both natural looks or night-time makeup! Plus, personally its color looks quite similar to the shade of Guerlain Rouge Automatique - 101 (one of my favorite lipsticks!!)

What can be more delightful than discovering a substitute for your high-end cosmetic favorites!!? (Happy dancing)

Is it long lasting? Will it comes off? 

To be honest, it doesn't stick on your lips like lip stain does. But, the color stays on your lips pretty well unless you eat giant hotdog! (Come on!I'm sure even most high-end lipsticks still come off! Then I feel better with the way-cheaper-price! )

Is it moisturizing? 

Yes! Indeed you know it from its name! It's really butter-like! It just glides on your lips like without any resistance! I just fall in love with the feeling of it gliding on my lips and keep applying it! It diminishes my cracked lips and gives you a sheer shinning effect that I really love! (*not that kind of visible glittery shining)

Drugstore products can be compared to high-end goodies,SCORE!

It's creamy and moisturizing. The color is flattering and not-too-shinny-not-too-matt, which is perfect for picky me.

The only bad side is it is not super long-lasting, but I'm ok with it. You can't expect something to be perfect when you just get to pay few bucks.

Want to collect all colors! Lollipop, Macaroon, Cotton Candy also seem so beautiful and yummy!

How to look cool and feel cool?

Summer can sometimes be a torture to girls with insanely long hair like me! (Gosh! sometimes my hair is like a neck warmer! ) If you get bored with simple pony tails or up-dos like me, you can give this hairstyle a try! It is super simple and meanwhile keeps your neck cool and unwrapped! It is inspired by milkmaid braids but I did it in a looser way. I think it is very cute and sweet and you can also rock a flower headband with this look!
